About

Who I am

I'm Denis Miranda, a program and portfolio leader. I started as a radio frequency engineer optimizing mobile networks, and since then I've led digital transformations for city councils, banks, and telecom operators across Spain.

I believe portfolio management is more like conducting an orchestra than running a factory: the value is not in playing every instrument, but in making the whole sound like a single voice. That idea runs through everything I do — and everything I write here.

I have been volunteering as a mentor for project leaders at the PMI Barcelona Chapter since 2020. I also fly drones (with an official AESA license), which in practice means I learned to read dense regulations for fun.

How I work

01

Evidence over claims

I would rather show a measurable result and how it was achieved than a list of adjectives. This site works the same way.

02

Operational simplicity

Fewer frameworks, clearer decisions. A methodology is worth what it stops you from doing, not what it adds.

03

AI as a tool, not a show

Training 750 hours in AI was not about collecting certificates: it was about knowing where it creates real value and where it is just noise.
